Natalie Shau - Beauty and Power reDefined

One of my all time greatest inspirations; Natalie Shau is a mixed media artist and photographer of Russian and Kazakhstan descent based in Lithuania (Vilnius). Her unique, hard-to-believe digital masterpieces, have been featured in everything from French Vogue to Sony and Def Jam.

 

Influenced by Gothic/horror, fairytales, and Russian classics like those by Dostoevsky and Gogol; Natalie redefines not only beauty, but the juxtaposition between fragility and power through both her photography and digital works.
